Steven Bartz, Ph.D.

Chief Business Officer

Steven Bartz, Ph.D., is the Chief Business Officer (interim) at EpiBiologics. Steve brings over 20 years of biopharma experience in both research and development and business development with a strong track record of advancing innovative technology platforms and therapeutics through his R&D and BD roles. Most recently, he was Head of Oncology Search and Evaluation at Pfizer, where the team identified and executed on partnering opportunities to support the Pfizer Oncology organization. Prior to Pfizer, Steven was Vice President of Licensing at Seagen, where his team executed a number of partnerships to support the Seagen pipeline and ADC capabilities. Steve started his biopharma career with Merck and spent 19 years with the company, starting in the R&D organization before moving into BD. Steve earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. He completed post-doctoral training at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA.
